Have you ever had the urge to pack up your life, sell your house and belongings and pop what’s left into a van (with three kids in tow of course!). Well, that’s exactly what the pernamently travelling family of five behind Instagram sensation, Trip In A Van did!
After looking at the life that they share with us over social media, that urge is creeping up rather fierce!
We’ve been lucky enough to host the gang a few times over the last couple of years while they make their way around Australia and back and around again.
Hear what mother, Bec Lorrimer, thought of their stay below, or, check out the full article on their website here.
Nobby Beach is a great location on the Gold Coast to set up and explore. Central to lots of great attractions like Pacific Fair, Seaworld, Coolangatta Airport and of course the amazing Gold Coast beaches. It’s one of the only pockets of real estate left on the goldy that isn’t built out by high-rises and huge apartment buildings. It has a more relaxed and family friendly vibe compared to the rest of the coast and we loved it!
The Nobby Beach Holiday Village is a family owned park with a big focus on providing great facilities and amenities to all it’s visitors. The grounds and caravan sites are fully landscaped and maintained to perfection providing heaps of shade and grass to park up on. The Pool and waterslide complex is fantastic and was a real winner with the kids. Right beside the pool is a playground and huge camp kitchen with bbq’s and seating so you can chill out and cook up a feed while the kids are having a swim or a play. They have live music and Pizza nights in the camp kitchen of a weekend and just next door is the Miami Marketta on Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays with great street food and live music from 4pm-11pm.
There are heaps of accommodation options for your stay here at Nobby Beach Holiday Village. Caravan & Camping Sites, Villa’s, Studio’s and a couple of houses for big family bookings.
All of the accommodation is either new or fully renovated with modern furnishing and finishes.
A short walk will put you straight onto Nobby Beach for a swim, it’s a beautiful stretch of coastline that looks left to Surfers Paradise and right to Burleigh Heads and Cooloongatta. Plenty of great cafes to choose from when your chasing a good brekky and coffee, and the Surf Club is a top spot for a beer of an afternoon.
