People First Stadium (formerly Metricon / Heritage Bank Stadium) in Carrara is located 15 minutes from Nobby Beach Holiday Village. The Carrara based Stadium is the largest multipurpose facility that seats 25,000 spectators and is home to the AFL Gold Coast SUNS. It features an AFL oval that is capable of holding ICC cricket matches, concerts, festivals, IAAF athletics events and FIFA World Cup soccer matches.

Event Shuttles:

Patrons in possession of a valid match day entry pass on event days can board one of the free event shuttle buses to and from the Stadium on scheduled Surfside Buses, Queensland Rail and G:link services. Simply show your valid entry card.

Driving to People First Stadium:

Take advantage of the Boowaggan Rd Park ‘N’ Ride (Cnr of Boowaggan Road and Robina Parkway, Merrimac). This free car park opens approximately 2.5 hours prior to the start of AFL matches and will close approximately 1 hour post match. Park your car then jump on the free return shuttle bus to People First Stadium.
