NEW ENTRANCE FAQ
Opening Date: As of the 6th of February 2023, our front entrance at 2200 Gold Coast Highway, Miami will be closing. Our new entrance will be located at 1 Hillcrest Parade, Miami. For directions, please follow the instructions below.
Why are we changing our front entrance: To alleviate traffic on the Gold Coast Highway and allow more room for caravans in our new check-in bay on Hillcrest Parade, thus making your arrival pain free. The Gold Coast Highway entrance will be closed off from the 6th of February 2023 and our current acoustic wall extended to further reduce noise from the Highway.
Is there pedestrian access directly to the Gold Coast Highway, and local beaches and eateries: A new secure pedestrian gate will be located on the Gold Coast Highway, adjacent to our onsite Kiosk. The pedestrian gate is the gateway to local beaches and the Nobby Beach Café and Dining Precinct (home to more than 25+ cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and speciality stores). Guests will be given a fob on check-in that allows access to both pedestrian gates and the entry/exit gate.
Is there a parking bay to access the new entrance: Two new short-term visitor parking bays will be located on Hillcrest Parade, along with a brand-new check-in bay, perfect for caravans.
Will reception be moving: Our new reception will reside at our new entrance on 1 Hillcrest Parade, Miami. Our current reception will turn into our Kiosk/Mini Mart for all your convenience needs. Check-in staff will be located at Reception and Reservations staff will be located at our Kiosk. The new reception is for check-in’s and check-out’s only, for any further enquiries whilst in the park, please direct your questions to our friendly reservations team in the Kiosk.
Can we still check-in after hours: Our new reception will continue to have a late check-in facility with an after-hours phone located outside our new reception on 1 Hillcrest Parade, Miami for any after hour emergencies.
HOW TO GET HERE FROM THE 6TH FEB 2023:
Arriving by Car:
Southbound on the M1 from Brisbane:
Take Exit 85, for Varsity Lakes and continue along Reedy Creek Rd until you reach the Gold Coast Highway, turn left and travel north to Miami, turn left onto Kedron Ave (when you see our billboard sign directing you left), take the second right onto Hillcrest Pde and follow it until the end, where you will find our new entrance. Driving from Brisbane: 85 kilometres (1 hour).
Southbound on the Gold Coast Highway:
Head south on the Gold Coast Highway, once you reach Nobby Beach, turn right onto Albicore St. Take the first left onto Karbunya St, then first left onto Alec Ave, first left onto Kiers Rd, and first left onto Hillcrest Parade. Follow Hillcrest Parade until the end, where you will find our new entrance.
Northbound on the M1 from New South Wales:
Take Exit 87 and continue along Bermuda St until you turn right at Reedy Creek Rd. Continue on Reedy Creek Rd until you reach the Gold Coast Highway, turn left and travel north to Miami, turn left onto Kedron Avenue (when you see our billboard sign directing you left), take the second right onto Hillcrest Pde and follow it until the end, where you will find our new entrance. Driving from Sydney: 853 kilometres (10 hours)
Arriving by Bus:
Jump on Surfside Bus 700/777 and exit at Nobby Beach Shops. Walk south 250m on Gold Coast Highway, turn right onto Kedron Ave, turn the next right onto Kiers Rd and the 1st right onto Hillcrest Parade, follow it to the end to arrive at our front gate. This bus runs with regular stops from Wharf St, Tweed Heads to Broadbeach South Station. Total walking distance from bus stop 450m.
